1 Chronicles 17:15, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Nathan has just received a night vision from God, and this verse reports that he delivered it to David without editing. The message reverses David's own plan: David wanted to build God a house, but God instead promises to build David a house, meaning a lasting dynasty, and to raise up a son who will build the temple.
