1 Chronicles 21:22, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
David is speaking to Ornan the Jebusite after a plague struck Israel because David ordered a census, a sin the Chronicler attributes to Satan's incitement. The angel of the LORD has stopped at Ornan's threshing floor, and Gad has told David to build an altar there.
