1 Chronicles 24:31 meaning and explanation

1 Chronicles 24:31, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
This verse closes the record of how David organized the Levites for temple service. The Levites, the wider tribe from which the priests came, cast lots just as the priests had done in verse 5, and they did it publicly before King David, the priests Zadok and Ahimelech, and the family heads.
