1 John 1:7 meaning and explanation
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:7, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The author writes as an eyewitness of Jesus to a community unsettled by teachers who claimed fellowship with God while ignoring how one lives. Walking in the light means living openly before God, in step with what he has revealed, since God himself is light.
