Explanation preview
This verse continues the account of Solomon's reign in Jerusalem. The previous verse says the whole world sought audience with him to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart, and verse 25 shows what that looked like year by year: visitors brought tribute of silver and gold, clothing, weapons, spices, horses and mules.
