1 Kings 16:10, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Zimri was commander of half King Elah's chariots, and he killed the king while Elah was drunk in the house of Arza, his household steward in Tirzah. The verse dates the murder by the reign of Asa of Judah, a common way this book synchronizes the two kingdoms.
