1 Thessalonians 4:11, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is writing to new believers in Thessalonica, a busy port city, and in verses 9 to 12 he turns from sexual purity and brotherly love to ordinary daily conduct. Having urged them to excel in love, he now names three ambitions: to live quietly, to mind their own affairs, and to work with their own hands, just as he had already instructed them.
