2 Chronicles 6:31, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Solomon is kneeling on a bronze platform before the whole assembly at the temple dedication, praying through a series of situations in which Israel might fail: oath disputes, defeat, drought, famine, plague, exile. In verse 31 he names the purpose behind God's hearing and forgiving: that the people may fear the LORD and walk in His ways all their days in the land.
