2 Corinthians 11:6 meaning and explanation
Although I am not a polished speaker, I am certainly not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every way possible.
2 Corinthians 11:6, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is defending his ministry to the Corinthian church against rival teachers he calls "super-apostles" (verse 5). Some in Corinth apparently judged him by the standards of professional speakers, since the Greek word here for "polished speaker" is idiotes, meaning a layperson or one untrained in rhetoric.
