2 Corinthians 12:5 meaning and explanation
I will boast about such a man, but I will not boast about myself, except in my weaknesses.
2 Corinthians 12:5, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is speaking to the Corinthian church, defending his apostolic authority against rival teachers who valued impressive credentials. He has just described a visionary experience but tells it in the third person, saying "a man in Christ," so attention falls on God rather than himself.
