2 Kings 15:9, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

Zechariah son of Jeroboam became king of Israel in Samaria and reigned only six months, and this verse gives the narrator's verdict on him. He is judged by the standard used for every northern king: he did evil in the LORD's sight and did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who had set up golden calves at Dan and Bethel and led Israel into idolatry.
