2 Kings 19:27 meaning and explanation
But I know your sitting down, your going out and coming in, and your raging against Me.
2 Kings 19:27, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
These words come from the LORD through the prophet Isaiah, spoken against Sennacherib king of Assyria, who has besieged Jerusalem and boasted that no god has rescued any nation from him. The verse answers the king's arrogance: God knows his every movement, his sitting down and going out and coming in, and his rage against the LORD himself.
