2 Thessalonians 3:1 meaning and explanation
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be held in honor, just as it was with you.
2 Thessalonians 3:1, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is closing his second letter to the believers in Thessalonica, a young church he founded and then had to leave. After correcting confusion about the Lord's return, he asks for their prayers, not for comfort but for the gospel itself, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be held in honor, just as it was among them.
