Acts 10:18 meaning and explanation
They called out to ask if Simon called Peter was staying there.
Acts 10:18, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
These are the men Cornelius sent from Caesarea, arriving at Simon the tanner's house in Joppa while Peter is still on the roof puzzling over his vision of the sheet. Luke keeps the two scenes running side by side: heaven has just declared clean what Peter called unclean, and now Gentile messengers stand at the gate.
