Acts 13:26 meaning and explanation
Brothers, children of Abraham, and you Gentiles who fear God, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.
Acts 13:26, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is speaking in the synagogue at Pisidian Antioch, after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, and the leaders have invited him to give a word of encouragement. He has just traced Israel's history from Egypt through David to Jesus, and now he addresses two groups present: Jews by birth and Gentiles who feared God, that is, non-Jews who worshiped in the synagogue without becoming full converts.
