Acts 13:45, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

In Pisidian Antioch, Paul has preached in the synagogue that Jesus is the promised Savior, and nearly the whole city gathers to hear him on the next Sabbath. Luke reports that the Jews there, meaning the synagogue leaders who had first welcomed the message, are filled with jealousy at the size of the crowd and contradict Paul, speaking against God and His word.
