Acts 17:27 meaning and explanation
God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.
Acts 17:27, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is speaking to the Areopagus in Athens, a city crowded with idols. Having quoted pagan poets, he tells these philosophers that God set the nations' times and boundaries for a purpose: so people would seek him and perhaps grope their way toward him, like someone feeling along a wall in the dark.
