Deuteronomy 18:19 meaning and explanation
And I will hold accountable anyone who does not listen to My words that the prophet speaks in My name.
Deuteronomy 18:19, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
These are the words of the LORD, spoken to Moses at Horeb and passed on to Israel before they entered the land. God has promised a prophet like Moses, and verse 19 sets the stakes for hearing him: the prophet will speak God's own words, and anyone who refuses to listen will answer to God himself.
