Deuteronomy 28:19 meaning and explanation
You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out.
Deuteronomy 28:19, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses is speaking to Israel on the plains of Moab, setting before the people the covenant blessings and curses that will follow their obedience or disobedience. Verse 19 closes the opening set of curses by reversing the blessing of verse 6: the same everyday pair, coming in and going out, now carries curse rather than blessing.
