Deuteronomy 4:33 meaning and explanation
Has a people ever heard the voice of God speaking out of the fire, as you have, and lived?
Deuteronomy 4:33, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses is speaking to the Israelites on the plains of Moab, just before they cross the Jordan. He recalls how their parents stood at Horeb and heard God speak from the fire, and he asks a rhetorical question no one can answer: no other people has ever heard the voice of the living God from the flames and survived.
