Ephesians 5:12 meaning and explanation
For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
Ephesians 5:12, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Paul is writing to believers in Ephesus, urging them to live as children of light rather than sharing in the fruitless deeds of darkness. In verse 11 he tells them to expose those deeds, and verse 12 explains why exposure matters: the things done in secret are so shameful that merely speaking of them is disgraceful.
