Esther 8:2 meaning and explanation
The king removed the signet ring he had recovered from Haman and presented it to Mordecai. And Esther appointed Mordecai over the estate of Haman.

Esther has just revealed that Mordecai is her relative, and the king responds by transferring Haman's signet ring to him. In the Persian court the signet ring was the instrument of royal authority; whoever held it could seal documents in the king's name, as Haman had done.
