Exodus 25:40 meaning and explanation
See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
Exodus 25:40, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God has just given Moses detailed instructions for the tabernacle and its furnishings, and verse 40 closes the chapter by insisting that everything be made exactly as shown. The Hebrew word tavnit means a pattern or model, suggesting Moses was shown something concrete on the mountain, not merely given a description.
