Explanation preview
God is speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, giving instructions for the tabernacle, the portable sanctuary where he will dwell among Israel. Verse 35 places two furnishings inside the Holy Place, the room just outside the inner veil: the table for the bread of the Presence on the north side, and the lampstand on the south side, facing each other across the space.
