Explanation preview
Exodus 36 describes the actual construction of the tabernacle, and verse 15 falls within the making of the goat hair curtains that formed the tent covering over the sanctuary itself. These eleven curtains, each thirty cubits long and four cubits wide, were slightly larger than the ten linen curtains of verse 9, giving the outer covering an overlap that protected the inner dwelling.
