Exodus 36 describes the actual construction of the tabernacle, carried out by Bezalel, Oholiab and the skilled workers whom God had gifted. Verse 27 falls within the detailed account of the wooden framework: after twenty frames for the south side and twenty for the north, Moses reports six frames made for the rear, the west side.
