Exodus 7:12 meaning and explanation
Each one threw down his staff, and it became a serpent. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up the other staffs.
Exodus 7:12, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Moses and Aaron stand before Pharaoh after God's promise to make Moses like God to Pharaoh and Aaron his prophet. Pharaoh's magicians match the sign with their own arts, so the contest looks like a draw until Aaron's staff swallows the others.
