Ezekiel 39:7 meaning and explanation
So I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
Ezekiel 39:7, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God speaks through Ezekiel to exiles whose unfaithfulness had profaned his holy name among the nations, so that the LORD seemed no different from other gods. Here, after announcing Gog's defeat, God promises to act for his own name's sake: he will make it known first among his own people Israel and stop its profaning.
