You are also to provide with it every morning a grain offering of a sixth of an ephah with a third of a hin of oil to moisten the fine flour—a grain offering to the LORD. This is a permanent statute.
Ezekiel 46:14, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Ezekiel is being shown a vision of a restored temple, and here the Lord through the prophet tells the priests to add a grain offering to the daily morning lamb. The sixth of an ephah of fine flour and third of a hin of oil are fixed, modest amounts, and the oil moistens the flour so the offering is prepared rather than dry.
