Ezekiel 48:15 meaning and explanation
The remaining area, 5,000 cubits wide and 25,000 cubits long, will be for common use by the city, for houses, and for pastureland. The city will be in the center of it
Ezekiel 48:15, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Ezekiel is shown a vision of the restored land, and here he describes the strip left over beside the holy portion set apart for the LORD. The larger sacred area belongs to the priests and Levites, but this remaining strip of 5,000 by 25,000 cubits is deliberately ordinary: land for houses, for pasture, and for the city itself.
