Genesis 11:32 meaning and explanation
Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Haran.
Genesis 11:32, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Terah is the father of Abram, and verse 31 tells how he uprooted the family from Ur of the Chaldeans and set out for Canaan, but stopped and settled in Haran instead. This closing line simply records his death there at 205, so the journey toward the promised land is left unfinished by the one who began it.
