Genesis 31:23, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Laban has just learned that Jacob has fled with his family and flocks, and here he gathers his relatives and sets out in pursuit. The Hebrew word for relatives suggests a band of kinsmen, and the seven day chase shows how seriously Laban took the loss of his household.
