Genesis 44:14 meaning and explanation
When Judah and his brothers arrived at Joseph’s house, he was still there, and they fell to the ground before him.
Genesis 44:14, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Joseph, still unrecognized by his brothers, has arranged for his silver cup to be found in Benjamin's sack, and the men have been brought back to his house in Egypt. Their falling to the ground fulfills Joseph's earlier dreams of his brothers bowing before him, though here it comes from fear rather than reverence.
