Isaiah 32:7 meaning and explanation
The weapons of the scoundrel are destructive; he hatches plots to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.
Isaiah 32:7, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Isaiah continues his contrast between the fool and the noble man, describing the scoundrel (in Hebrew, a man of scheming) whose methods are ruinous. His weapons are not only physical but verbal: he devises false accusations to ruin the poor, and he does so even when the needy person's case is right.
