Isaiah 37:22, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

These words come through the prophet Isaiah to King Hezekiah, answering the Assyrian king Sennacherib, whose army threatens Jerusalem. "Daughter of Zion" is a Hebrew poetic way of speaking of the city and its people as a woman, here called a virgin because she has not yet been conquered.
