Isaiah 55:10, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
In Isaiah 55, God speaks through the prophet to exiles in Babylon, inviting them to come to Him freely and to return from their own ways. Verse 10 uses ordinary farming as a picture: rain and snow come down from the sky and do not go back up until they have watered the ground, causing it to bud and sprout, giving seed for the next sowing and food to eat.
