“Take the loincloth that you bought and are wearing, and go at once to Perath and hide it there in a crevice of the rocks.”
Jeremiah 13:4, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God has already told Jeremiah to buy and wear a linen loincloth, and now commands him to take it to Perath and hide it in a crevice of the rocks. Perath is usually understood as the Euphrates, the distant river to the north from which Babylon's threat would come.
