Job 10:19 meaning and explanation
If only I had never come to be, but had been carried from the womb to the grave.
Job 10:19, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Job is speaking to God near the end of a long complaint, and this verse voices his deepest wish. Having just described God forming him like clay and knitting him together, Job imagines the opposite: being carried straight from the womb to the grave, so that life with its suffering never happened.
