Job 39:17 meaning and explanation
For God has deprived her of wisdom; He has not endowed her with understanding.
Job 39:17, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
God is speaking to Job out of the whirlwind, and here he points to the ostrich as an example of a creature whose ways are not measured by human standards. The verse explains the ostrich's neglect of her eggs and young, described just before, as a lack of wisdom given by God.
