Job 7:8 meaning and explanation
The eye that beholds me will no longer see me. You will look for me, but I will be no more.
Job 7:8, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Job is speaking directly to God out of his suffering, answering his friends' comfort with raw complaint. Just before this he compares his days to a weaver's shuttle that runs out quickly, and here he faces the thought that death will remove him from every human eye.
