John 10:16 meaning and explanation
I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd.

Jesus speaks these words during the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem, continuing His shepherd discourse. The "other sheep" are outside Israel's fold, most naturally the Gentiles, though the phrase also gathers everyone who will hear His voice.
