John 14:22 meaning and explanation
Judas (not Iscariot) asked Him, “Lord, why are You going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”
John 14:22, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
At the Last Supper Jesus has just promised that those who love Him will be loved by the Father and will see Him revealed. Judas, distinguished here from the betrayer and called Thaddaeus in the other Gospels, speaks for disciples who expected the Messiah to appear openly to all nations.
