Explanation preview
Jesus is speaking in Jerusalem after healing a man on the Sabbath, and His opponents are pressing Him for claiming a unique relationship with God. In verses 19 to 26 He describes the Son as doing only what the Father does, giving life and receiving honor equal to the Father's.
