Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, in whom you have put your hope.

Jesus is speaking to Jewish leaders who have challenged His healing on the Sabbath and His claim to be equal with God. In verse 45 He corrects a false assumption: they expect Moses, their revered lawgiver, to defend them before the Father.
