Joshua 1:7 meaning and explanation
Above all, be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe all the law that My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may prosper wherever you go.
Joshua 1:7, Berean Standard Bible

The LORD is speaking to Joshua, Moses' successor, as Israel camps east of the Jordan ready to enter the promised land. The courage commanded here is not bravado but covenant faithfulness: Joshua must carefully observe all the law Moses gave, not turning aside to the right or left.
