Joshua 10:25 meaning and explanation
“Do not be afraid or discouraged,” Joshua said. “Be strong and courageous, for the LORD will do this to all the enemies you fight.”
Joshua 10:25, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
Joshua speaks these words to the army commanders who have just put their feet on the necks of the five defeated Amorite kings, a public gesture of total victory in the ancient world. The command echoes God's own charge to Joshua at the start of the conquest, and here it is grounded in something the soldiers have just seen with their own eyes.
