Joshua 15:4, Berean Standard Bible

Explanation preview

This verse closes the description of Judah's southern boundary, which began at the Salt Sea and ran southwest through the wilderness toward the border of Edom. The Brook of Egypt is not the Nile but a seasonal streambed, the Wadi el-Arish, in the northern Sinai; Hebrew nahal means a torrent valley that carries water only in the rainy season.
