Joshua 7:23 meaning and explanation
They took the things from inside the tent, brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites, and spread them out before the LORD.

After Achan confesses that he took a cloak, silver and gold from Jericho, Joshua sends messengers to his tent, and they find the stolen goods hidden under the silver, exactly as he said. The verse records the public display of that evidence: the items are carried out and spread before Joshua, the whole assembly and the LORD.
