Although you are fully aware of this, I want to remind you that after Jesus had delivered His people out of the land of Egypt, He destroyed those who did not believe.

Jude writes to beloved believers who face false teachers who had slipped in among them. In verse 5 he reminds them of Israel's exodus: the Lord rescued a whole people from Egypt, yet afterward he destroyed those who did not believe in the wilderness.
