Leviticus 16:4, Berean Standard Bible
Explanation preview
The LORD is instructing Moses on how Aaron, the high priest, must enter the Most Holy Place on the Day of Atonement, after the deaths of his sons warned of the danger of approaching God carelessly. Unlike the ornate garments worn on other occasions, Aaron wears simple linen: tunic, undergarments, sash and turban, called holy garments because they are set apart for this service.
